Electric bass and double bass player Federico Malaman graduated in double bass in 2000 at the “Evaristo Felice Dall’Abaco” Conservatory of Music in Verona (Italy). In his musical journey so far, on various occasions (TV shows or concerts), he has had the honor of playing with:
George Benson, Wilson Pickett, Al Jarreau, Solomon Burke, I Blue, Sananda Maytreia (also known as Terence Trent D’Arby), Marcus Miller, Virgil Donati, Victor Wooten, Mohini Dey, Al Jarreau, Kid Creole, Zucchero Fornaciari, Stefano Bollani, Paolo Fresu, Claudio Baglioni, Mario Biondi, Elio e le Storie Tese, Lucio Dalla, Ron, Giorgia, Gianna Nannini, Gianni Morandi, Enrico Ruggeri, Fabio Concato, Renato Zero, Noemi, Paolo Belli and many others.
He was also arranger and bassist in Paolo Belli’s Big Band for various editions of italian television RAI shows such as: “Ballando con le Stelle”, “Telethon”, “Torno Sabato”, “La Sera dei Miracoli”.
Creative and tireless musician, Federico is continually divided between production, recording studio, festivals, reviews, TV shows, international music fairs. Due to his amazing virtuosity, combined with an innate sympathy and communication skills, Federico has become a true star in the web, establishing himself as a leading teacher and musician among the most popular on the net.
